Strengths
• Lots of damage on all moves
• Can KO with his command grab (Side B), which can also be used midair
• Very high endurance, thanks to his weight class
• Powerful smash attacks which kill early and have armor
• Does not flinch when hit with a rapid jab

• Excellent range on all attacks, allowing him to keep his distance from opponents
• Very high damage and knockback on his sword's tipper hits
• Very good at edgeguarding (Counter, Forward Aerial, Back Aerial)
• One of the fastest Out of Shield Options in the game with Up B
Weaknesses
• Very large body, and big target for projectiles and combos
• Mediocre recovery (Up B) and poor disadvantage state
• Slow startup on most moves

• Struggles to kill if not properly spaced
• Poor air mobility, so he struggles to land
• Properly spacing all attacks is difficult and can feel unrewarding
